Direct Support Professional Overnight $23/hr

Residential Resources is looking for a full Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to a wonderful woman in her one-person staffed residence in Salem, NH.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable applicant who is able to work both at home and possibly in the community to help someone live a fulfilling life.

About the Individual :

• Loves people! Is incredibly social and wants to say hi to everyone!
• Enjoys balancing keeping busy (going swimming, to the library, volunteering) with leisure time at home (watching movies, baking cookies for others).
• Support needs include meal preparation and clean up/household chores, cues and
hands-on support for personal care, medication administration (dont worry, we will train the right person) and general companionship. Due to personal care support requirements, the individual is requesting female only applicants for this position, however male applicants are encouraged to apply for other open roles.

Available shift:
Sunday-Thursday (5 days) 11:00pm-7:00am (40 hours)
This is an "Alert" position which means there is the possibilty to sleep, but if the individual is awake or needs assistance, you would be awake and alert to provide the necessary supports.

Pay:
$23.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Experience as a DSP/caregiver/support staff preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years as a licensed driver
• Acceptable criminal and background checks
