208 Home Care is looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist an adult client with personal care services.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Every Friday from 12pm5pm, plus a rotating weekly schedule of either Thursday or Saturday from 5:30pm10pm (Thursday one week, Saturday the next).
Location: Boise near Tablerock
About the Client:
The client is a male who has some mobility issues and needs supervision, light housekeeping and meal preparation. Bathing and personal hygiene is provided by the VA bath aide (not the person hired for this role), and will occur on either Thursday or Saturday depending on the week. He is really friendly and will want to chat with the caregiver. No preference on gender for the care provider.
Responsibilities:
The care provider would be responsible for preparing meals for the client, providing light housekeeping and general oversight/stand by assist for transferring/mobility. A lot of it would be companion/supervision as he wants to be independent but needs to do things safely.
Note: If you are interested in additional hours with other clients as well, please let us know!
Ideal Candidate:
Able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
Able to pass a urine drug test (Prescribed medication is acceptable)
Must complete Direct Care Professional (DCP) Training or have equivalent training certificate (exempt w/ CNA/LPN/RN License). The agency can help you get registered for this training and there is no cost associated with it.
Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
Able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your client and with the office.
