BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Neuro unit at Winter Haven Hospital . This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about oncology care, patient advocacy, and team development.

The RN Charge Nurse provides clinical and operational leadership for the unit, serving as a role model, preceptor, and clinical resource while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support nursing staff during assigned shifts

• Serve as charge nurse and preceptor

• Promote professional growth, collaboration, and evidence-based practice

• Communicate organizational priorities and unit goals

• BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience

• Bachelors degree in Nursing

• Prior charge or leadership experience

• Oncology experience or specialty certification

• Shift: Days (Shift 1)

• Shift Hours: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM

• Weekend: Every other

• On Call: No
