Location: Santa Rosa (Fountaingrove area)
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Approximately 3 hours per day, 7 days per week
Employment Type: Part-Time
Payroll: Paid directly through County of Sonoma In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
Legal Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and 18+ years old

We are seeking a compassionate, honest, and dependable caregiver to assist an independent 83-year-old woman in her home. This is an immediate-start, part-time position with a consistent daily scheduleideal for someone who enjoys supporting seniors and is already set up in the IHSS system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Light housekeeping (keeping the home tidy, making the bed, light cleaning)
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Light shopping and running errands
• Occasional light meal prep (not required, but preferred)
• General household assistance as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Honest, reliable, and dependable
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check (Live Scan required before employment)

Preferred Attributes (Highly Desired):

• Already approved and registered as an IHSS caregiver/provider (strongly preferred for a seamless, fast onboarding process)
• Positive attitude and patient demeanor
• Enjoys assisting and spending time with elderly individuals
• Previous caregiving or home assistance experience
• Comfortable with occasional light meal preparation
