Back-up/On Call Caregiver (Personal Support Worker) - MR01DD

Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a couple of Back-Up/On Call Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer, who had a Spinal Stroke, in all activities of daily living.

She enjoys listening to music and drawing. Very social and personable. Determined individual dedicated to her therapies and recovery. Looking for a caring and compassionate person who can match her energy and enthusiasm.

Location:
-Maple Ridge (near Haney Place Mall)

Compensation:
-$27 per hour for probationary period
-$28 per hour once probationary period is over

Shifts:
-Daytime back up/casual
-To be discussed further with the employer
Evening Shifts:
-Monday to Friday: 7:00pm to 9:00pm (2 hours a night)

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
-All Personal Care including showering, dressing, washroom care and all personal hygiene activities
-Light housekeeping and meal preparation
-Driving wheelchair accessible vehicle to appointments and any other outings
-Medication administration

Qualification:
-Fully Vaccinated (at least 2 doses)
-3 years Caregiving experience preferred
-Strong Communication skills
-Class 4 or 5 drivers license and personal vehicle to get to work REQUIRED
