Are you an experienced Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment but prefers to work independently?
We are a rapidly growing medical practice experiencing a high volume of inbound patient calls. We are looking for a sharp, autonomous Medical Assistant to join our triage department.
In this role, you wont be rooming patientsyour primary focus will be managing inbound calls, providing clinical advice under established protocols, and acting as the vital link between our patients and our physicians.
Responsibilities:Patient Triage: Answer inbound calls from patients, assess their needs, and provide appropriate medical advice following established guidelines.
Physician Liaison: Relay critical information, messages, and updates clearly between patients and our doctors.
Documentation: Accurately log all calls, symptoms, and advice given into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Patient Education: Prep patients for doctor visits and explain follow-up instructions.
Qualifications:Valid Medical Assistant (MA) certification or diploma.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required (triage experience is a huge plus!).Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.High level of independence, self-motivation, and critical thinkingyou must be comfortable working autonomously.Proficient with EHR systems and basic computer navigation.
