Russian speaking caregiver / nurse

We are seeking a Russian speaking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Nurse to provide essential support and assistance to an elderly gentleman in need of personal care and assistance in Maui, Hawaii.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care and medical terminology, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with the utmost respect and professionalism. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for the patient by delivering personalized care in a professional, safe and nurturing environment.

Duties:

Accompany the patient to his weekly activities, appointments, gym, therapies, etc.
Provide daily personal care assistance.
Assist clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
Monitor and document client health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation and provide all the required information to the family of the client along with daily updates.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and updates.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Uphold a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information and medical records.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Certification as a nursing assistant or similar qualification is a plus but not required.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
All travel expenses to doctor's clinics, or appointments are covered by the family.

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND WILLING TO RELOCATE TO MAUI, HI.
