Position Overview
Eihab is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our on-site day program team. DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by promoting independence, community engagement, social interaction, and daily living skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care and supervision to program participants
Assist individuals with daily activities and personal care as needed
Support participants in recreational, educational, and vocational activities
Encourage independence, communication, and social development
Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment
Complete daily documentation and incident reports accurately
Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and individualized support plans
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality care
QualificationsQualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Valid NJ driver’s license
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
