Overview Lead Certified Medical Assistant - Woodridge - Family Practice Position Highlights : Full-Time, 40 hours/week Hours: Monday-Friday, hours vary between 8:00AM-7:30PM; Saturday rotations, 8:00AM-1:30PM Location: 7530 S Woodward Ave Woodridge, Illinois 60517 Travel: As needed. Responsibilities Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies. Assists with coordinating staff meetings. Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members.Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution. Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures. May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required. Certified or Registered preferred but not necessary CPR Certification required A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance Leadership skills Multi-tasking Time management Team work Medical terminology Ability to provide accurate and sufficient charting/messages Able to listen, provide direction, relay information in a professional manner that is appropriate to audience and respond to questions within scope of his/her knowledge as well as being open to constructive criticism Ability to work full time and flexibility to work varying hours Ability to travel to all locations at any given time Ability to work multiple positions for the specific department i.e. phones, scheduling of appointments, rooming, procedures Conveys a warm, caring and approachable demeanor Displays unconditional respect toward others Able to sense others feelings and perspectives Must be able to get along with others, be a team player, accept feedback from others, and be able to follow work rules The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00-26.45 based on certification, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.

Certified or Registered preferred but not necessary
