Rehabilitation Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

12 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:- 2 years of clinical experience in any clinical setting or 1-year of acute care experience.

Special Requests:- If you are working per diem at a Kindred facility, you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler.- If you are a full-time employee with a Kindred facility, you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.

Unit Details:- Inpatient rehabilitation setting for adults age 18+ recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries.- Approximate patient ratios: 1:6/7 Day and 1:8 Night; each nurse has a dedicated tech.- Brain injury and stroke care areas include monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, dedicated therapy space, and high-tech therapy devices.

Shift & Scheduling:- Every other weekend requirement.

Floating Requirements:- Float within the hospital to Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury units.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Drivers license required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

IV Therapy Certification (Intravenous Therapy Certification)

CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse)
