As a Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) at our critical access hospital, you will be integral to deliveringhigh-quality patient care in acute care, swing, observation, emergency andlong-term care settings. Working under the supervision of registered nurses andphysicians, you will provide compassionate nursing care, administermedications, monitor patient health, and collaborate closely with thehealthcare team.
Essential Job Functions
Supports and models behaviorsconsistent with Billings Clinics mission, vision, values, code of businessconduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational anddepartmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmentaland outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee,patient safety or job performance.
Provide direct patient carebased on the established plan of care.
Administer medications andtreatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and assess patientconditions, reporting any changes to the registered nurse or physician.
Assist in patient assessmentsand contribute to developing care plans.
Educate patients and theirfamilies about healthcare procedures, treatments, and self-care practices.
Maintain accurate and thoroughpatient records and documentation.
Adhere to infection controlprotocols and hospital policies.
Participate actively ininterdisciplinary team meetings and patient care conferences.
Respond promptly to emergencies,providing basic life support and first aid as necessary.
Uphold professional and ethicalstandards of nursing practice.
Performs other duties asassigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Vocational / Technical - Graduateof an approved licensed practical nursing program
Experience
Experience in wound care andmedication administration
Previous experience in criticalaccess hospital, preferred

Current Montana state license as alicensed practical nurse - At hire
