Assistant Unit Manager (LPN)

Corning Center is seeking a dediced and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as an Assistant Unit Manager. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motived nursing professional with strong clinical judgment, leadership ability, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Unit Manager supports the daily clinical operions of the nursing department and works closely with unit leadership to ensure quality resident care and compliance with all applicable regulions and facility policies. This role assists in coordining nursing services, supervising support staff, and promoting a positive and compassione environment for residents and team members alike.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the oversight and coordinion of day-to-day nursing unit functions
Monitor resident conditions and document health informion accurely
Administer medicions, trements, and physician-ordered care as required
Assist with admissions and ghering necessary resident informion
Observe and report changes in residents physical or mental condition
Provide wound care and other nursing trements when needed
Encourage resident comfort, dignity, and personal hygiene assistance
Supervise and guide CNAs and other nursing support staff as assigned
Maintain compliance with facility procedures, standards, and ste regulions
Track residents nutritional intake, output, and vital signs

Qualificions:

Active LPN license in good standing
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong communicion and organizional skills
Ability to work collaborively within a team environment
Basic computer proficiency preferred
