Companion/Caregiver Needed for Autistic Young Adult Petaluma

A Petaluma family is looking for a kind, patient, and energetic person to spend time with their son, a young adult with autism. He needs someone to bring structure to his day, keep him company, and genuinely enjoy spending time with him.

He loves LEGOs, world languages, religions, and geography. He's into science, wildlife, hiking, and walking, and he loves to chat. If that sounds like your kind of person, you'll get along great.

A typical visit might include:
Providing structure and daily routine
Keeping him physically active (walks, hikes, outings)
Supporting daily living skills and light chores
Transportation to activities as needed
Good conversation and companionship
Occasional overnights

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
References and background check required

Schedule & Location:
Based in Petaluma. Ongoing role, 1020 hours per week with a consistent weekly schedule (may include evenings and weekends). Immediate need: coverage June 1121 while the parent is traveling (M, T, Th, Su 126pm; W 10am1pm).

Compensation:
$22$35 per hour depending on experience.
