Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. This part-time, day-shift role focuses on providing safe and accurate medication administration, as well as supporting the overall well-being of residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. The ideal candidate demonstrates a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any concerns to the licensed nurse.
Document medication administration accurately in residents' medical records.
Assist residents with daily living activities as needed, including meals, mobility, and personal care.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and provide emotional support, particularly in the Memory Care neighborhood.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and families regarding resident care needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Qualifications:
- Current 40-hour Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
