Job Description:

• Assesses patients physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Organizational skills
Effective verbal and interpersonal communication
Proficient in customer relations
Strong grammar and spelling abilities
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions

Education:
Associate's of Nursing [Required]
Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

Work Experience:
1+ year experience preferred nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty [Required]
