Certified Medical Assistant Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant and play a vital role in supporting telehealth providers and managing scanning backlogs in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 12-week initial assignment offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while gaining valuable experience. The position requires local candidates who are available to go on-site for clearance tasks prior to start. The role involves performing a variety of basic patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse and physician, including specimen collection, medication administration, diagnostic assistance, and emergency procedures. Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience State certification as a Medical Assistant or meeting state guidelines for exceptions High school diploma, GED, or higher Valid driver's license Ability to perform venipuncture, assist with medications, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and clinical procedures Strong communication and documentation skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in correctional or inpatient settings Bilingual abilities Additional certifications in CPR or emergency response Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of relevant experience Prior experience supporting telehealth or inpatient care is advantageous Other Requirements: Must be available to start within 3 weeks with no time-off requests Ability to perform on-site clearance tasks prior to start date Willingness to work days, Monday through Friday, with 5 shifts per week Compensation: Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals to make a meaningful impact.
