POLISH SPEAKING CAREGIVER (NEEDED ASAP FOR LIVE IN) (Oak Forest) FREYA CARE INC. compensation: PER DAY employment type: experience level: no experience required job title: Polish Speaking Caregiver for Live In Services Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Caregiver to provide non-medical home care services to seniors in their homes. The Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities, companionship, personal care, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment while promoting independence and dignity. Duties and Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting Mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping duties including: Laundry Dishwashing Sweeping and mopping Changing bed linens Remind clients to take medications as directed Assist with grocery shopping and errands Escort clients to medical appointments and community activities Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the supervisor Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients Follow agency policies, care plans, and state regulations Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving or senior care experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively in English Compassionate, respectful, and patient attitude Ability to work independently and follow instructions Reliable transportation preferred Must pass background check and any required screenings CPR/First Aid certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients when needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Ability to perform household tasks and personal care duties Work Environment Client homes Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Benefits Flexible scheduling Competitive pay Training opportunities Supportive work environment Paid time off Extra Holiday Pay Health insurance options Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
