Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Location: Area of Eureka, California
• Start Date: August 1, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Coverage Need: Minimum 2+ weeks per month preferred
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day (OT after 8)
• Setting: Outpatient surgery center
• EMR: Epic
• Call: None

• Provide anesthesia care for a range of outpatient surgical procedures
• Administer and manage:
  • General anesthesia
  • Regional anesthesia
• Patient volume: 8 cases per shift
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team (RN and support staff on-site)
• No supervision of APPs required

Procedures include (no high-acuity/complex cases):

• Orthopedic
• Vascular (non-complex)
• Spine and head procedures
• Pediatric cases
• Regional anesthesia

Note: No cardiac, neuro, OB, thoracic, or complex vascular cases.

• Active California CRNA license
• DEA (CA) required
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
• Board certified or board eligible
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in specialty
• Clean work history with any gaps >3 months explained

• Covered:
  • Flights
  • Lodging
  • Transportation at destination (airport lodging facility)
• Restrictions:
  • No reimbursement for travel between home and departing airport
  • Rental car insurance must be pre-approved
