Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

18 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

Travel experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Will accept a first-time traveler only if greater than 2 years of experience
• Ability to titrate drips and care for the mechanically ventilated patient.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Every other
• Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? May be placed on low census/on call
• Holiday Expectations: All

Floating Requirements:

• NICU 30 bed feeder/growers 1:3 ratios
• Gen Peds must be comfortable to work in this department with ratios of up to 1:5

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
