Were currently seeking a dependable, emphetic, and tentive Hospice Aide to provide essential personal care and emotional support to pients wherever they call homewhether th's a prive residence, assisted living facility, or inpient unit. Essential Functions:
  • Provide direct personal care to terminally ill pients
  • Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
  • Support safe mobility, including use of walkers and wheelchairs
  • Help with meal preparion, feeding, and light housekeeping
  • Observe and report changes in the pients physical or mental condition
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to pients and families
  • Maintain accure and timely documention of visits
  • Attend team meetings and participe in Quality Improvement (QI) activities
  • Practice infection control and follow safety protocols all times
About You:

Qualificions Wh Youll Bring:

  • Active CNA license in the ste of employment (Required)
  • Current CPR certificion (Required)
  • Drivers license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required)
  • Six (6) months of direct pient care experience (Required)
  • Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments
  • Demonstred compassion, pience, and ability to handle emotional situions
  • Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing pient needs

Preferred Background (Not Required):

  • Experience in home health, hospice, palliive care, or oncology
  • Prior roles in hospital nursing, ICU, gerirics, med-surg, ER, telemetry, or nursing homes
  • Exposure to end-of-life care, wound care, or admissions support

Compension may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candides locion, experience, educion, skills, licensure, certificions and department equity. Gentiva provides associes with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

Salary Range: $22.00/hr - $23.00/hr
