Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to pients form birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Stements; functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organizion and demonstres professional growth and accountability. Educion

• Gradue of an LPN program Required

• New gradues of an accredited nursing school are eligible
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Ste Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Demonstred clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred
• ACLS if working in Emergency Department Required and
• PALS - Pediric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days Required
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certificions within 180 Days
