NOMI health insurance network with zero co-pay, deductible or co-insurance expense Essential Responsibilities as an LPN As a valued member of our care team, you will: Deliver direct nursing care and implement individualized resident care plans Administer medications and manage pain safely, accurately, and on time Monitor resident conditions, including skin integrity and wound care Observe, assess, document, and report changes in resident status Carry out physician orders promptly and accurately Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and State/Federal regulations Provide calm, critical thinking during urgent or emergent situations Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Lead, assign, and support clinical staff while promoting teamwork and growth Assist with staffing coverage and unit support as needed Deliver thorough shift reports to ensure continuity of care Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding resident and family expectations Float between units as operational needs require What Makes You a Great Fit You're someone who brings both skill and heart to nursing care as an LPN. Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse. Successful completion of the National Association LPN Michigan State boards. Previous nursing experience preferred, especially with the elderly population. Meet on-going requirements to maintain current nursing license. Assumes responsibility for own continued personal and professional growth. Participates in learning and development opportunities. Attends all required in-service training and departmental meetings. Required Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications Possession of a current license from the Michigan Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Physical Requirements This role is active and hands-on.
