We're partnering with a school district in Lake County, Illinois to hire dedicated Certified School Nurses (CSN) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting K-12 plus transition-age students (ages 18-22). In this role you will provide school-based nursing services to support student health, safety, and access to learning--collaborating with educators and support teams to ensure students' medical needs are met throughout the school day. Position Details: Location: In person (On-site) Hours: 8:00 AM-3:30 PM (35 hours a week) Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday School Year: 2026/2027 Responsibilities: Provide direct school nursing services and respond to student health needs during the school day Support and maintain student health plans and required health documentation Collaborate with special education and school teams to support student access and safety Deliver basic health education and reinforce wellness/safety practices as needed Communicate with families and staff regarding student health needs, while maintaining confidentiality Support district/school health procedures and compliance (as applicable to the role) Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with CSN endorsement (Certified School Nurse) Experience supporting school-aged students (K-12) preferred Comfort supporting students with varying levels/types of support needs, including transition-age students Ability to work fully on-site (no virtual/remote) What We Offer: Competitive pay and benefits package.
