The Greer Manchester Region has approximely 2,500 employees. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greer Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Utilizing the nursing process, provides high quality direct and indirect pient centered care. Coordines pient care by working collaborively with the interdisciplinary team. Communices, as approprie, the pient's clinical condition, responding quickly and accurely to changes in condition or response to trement. Demonstres knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide age approprie care to the pient populion served. Promotes the profession of nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must be a gradue of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the Ste of Connecticut.

• Must have certificion in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certificion within the new employee introductory oriention period and maintain clinical competency during employment with Hartford HealthCare in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Must be able to effectively communice verbally as well as in writing using the English language.

• Possess basic computer skills.
