Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare environment preferred
- Ability to provide dedicated, 1:1 nursing care to a student throughout the school day
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside educators, families, and support staff
- Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations, as required by state and district policies
- Compassion, adaptability, and professionalism in managing student health needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive 1:1 nursing care, administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and responding to emergencies as needed
- Document health services provided and communicate vital updates to the appropriate school personnel and guardians
- Assist students with daily health routines and activities to promote safety and independence
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, families, and the educational team to support student well-being
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and FERPA regulations
