Registered Nurse On Call - 7on - 7off

As an After Hours Hospice RN, youll respond to pient needs during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysbringing peace of mind and compassione care when its needed most.

Shift/Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 5pm- 8am

Friday 5pm to Monday 8am

7on-7off

Wh You'll Do as a Hospice RN After Hours / On-Call:

Report directly to the Administror, Executive Director, or Pient Care Manager Senior
Provide direct pient care and support after normal business hours
Serve as the primary liaison between pients, families, physicians, and the hospice team during your shift
Respond promptly and compassionely to urgent calls, pient visits, and symptom management needs
Evalue pient and family needs to guide clinical decisions and implement the plan of care
Support and collabore with an interdisciplinary group including LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, and other support staff
Accurely document clinical visits and communicions
Participe in quality assessment and performance improvement programs
Work independently while ensuring continuity of care and coordinion with the daytime care team

Compension may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candides locion, experience, educion, skills, licensure, certificions and department equity. Gentiva provides associes with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

Salary Range $ 71,450 - $89,335

Experience - Wh you'll bring:

Current RN license in the ste of requested employment (or eligibility to obtain)
1+ years of nursing experience
A hospice heart: compassione, calm, and dependable in urgent care situions
Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to provide support in emotionally intense settings
Comfortable providing care in pients homes, facilities, or wherever they reside
Valid drivers license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportion
Current CPR certificion

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

1+ years of hospice, home health, oncology, or palliive care experience
Familiarity with symptom management, triage, and after-hours home-based care
Prior experience in on-call or overnight nursing roles
Strong documention and electronic medical records (EMR) skills
