Our established R&A healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver/Personal Care Provider for the Denver Metro Area. This role is crucial in supporting clients with special needs, ranging from children to seniors, helping them maintain a high quality of life in a respectful and caring environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Impeccable communication skills and the ability to solve problems quickly.
Cheerful, receptive, kind, and compassionate demeanor.
Experience working with adults with mental deficits is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation is mandatory.
Valid drivers license and auto insurance required.
Must be able to pass a background check (processing time: 5-7 business days).
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
Willingness to learn and be trained in non-skilled care.
Ability to respect and accommodate cultural and religious practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized living space. Cleaning up after whichever task is done. (if meals were made & if games were played)
Going out into the community if the client is in the mood or the weather is right.
Understanding what the clients disabilities are, and knowing when a bad day appears, as they will.
Demonstrate flexibility to adjust schedules for family events and changing needs.
Client Profile:
The client is a female, she experiences shortness of breath with minimal exertion and requires assistance with daily household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment. She is also diabetic and needs support with grocery shopping, particularly in selecting suitable foods for her dietary needs and in carrying shopping bags upstairs.
The client travels south from November to January each year, so care needs are seasonal during this period. She prefers a caregiver whose primary income does not depend solely on this position, ensuring flexibility and continuity of care. The ideal caregiver will be attentive, empathetic, and experienced in supporting clients with similar health needs. She also prefers open communication. Few caregivers have left without her understanding why. If she can do something better, then she wants to know, so that you and her have open communication.
She resides close to the Broncos training facility.
She has 9 hours a week.
Any shifts can be scheduled on the following days:
Sunday, Monday and or Tuesdays. No time preference is requested (am or pm shifts) she is open to your availability.
We will create the schedule at the meet and greet, which is done during the background process.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Monthly pay is offered, with cash advances available. Additional hours can be provided by working with multiple clients to meet preferred scheduling needs.
