Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Location: Tarpon Springs, FL

Overview: Our CRNA role is in a well-established outpatient surgical setting focused on delivering high-quality perioperative care. Our position supports a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative clinical environment. The role emphasizes safe anesthesia practice, teamwork, and strong patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and risk assessments for ophthalmology patients
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans using MAC, regional, and local techniques
• Administer and manage anesthesia throughout intraoperative procedures in alignment with safety protocols
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and adjust anesthesia care to maintain stability and comfort
• Document anesthesia care accurately across all phases of the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain adherence to safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance reviews

Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification with eligibility to practice in Florida
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Florida APRN license with CRNA designation
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient anesthesia settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and perioperative care practices
