Emergency Department - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

36 months of Emergency Department experience.

Travel experience is preferred.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinicians claimed residence must match address on drivers license.Drivers license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Skills/Experience:- 3+ years and previous travel experience, or >5 years in a large ED with no travel experience.

Special Requests:- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Shift & Scheduling:- Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements:- May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off

2 references required

Certifications:

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior ) or the alternative certification CPI

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
