Summer Camp 1:1 Aide / Special Needs Caregiver for 6-Year-Old Autistic Child

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic one-on-one aide to support our 6-year-old autistic son at summer camp in Melville, NY.

Dates & Schedule:

August 10 August 21

MondayFriday

9:00 AM 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 supervision and support throughout camp activities

Assist with transitions, participation, and social interactions

Support emotional regulation and maintain safety

Encourage independence while providing appropriate guidance

Communicate with camp staff and parents as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with autistic or special needs children preferred

Patient, reliable, and proactive

Comfortable in active camp settings
