Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

10 months of Pediatric Psychiatric Unit experience.

Travel experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any).

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Credentials:- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:- RTO must be listed at time of submission.- Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.

Unit Details:- Pediatric and adolescent inpatient acute crisis unit caring for patients ages 6-17.- Children are usually admitted for dysregulation/behavior issues, and adolescents are often admitted for acute suicidal ideation or attempt.- Ratios: day and evening 1:5; nights 1:10.- Uses Humane Wrap and Hover Jack for transport to the secure room.

Shift & Scheduling:- Day shift 7:00-19:00 or night shift 19:00-07:00.- No call.- Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:- May float between units and facilities based on patient care needs and skill set, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.- If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, hotel accommodations are offered, and the facility will give as much notice as possible.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off
