Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend
• Holiday support required
• No on-call

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Medical ICU experience in a large facility
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors), and central line management
• Flexible, collaborative, and a critical thinker
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Capacity to assist with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubation
• Proficient in Cerner documentation

Role Responsibilities:

• Care for patients in a 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with a 2:1 (ICU) or 4-5:1 (PCU) ratio
• Maintain accurate bedside shift reports
• Participate in nurse leader rounding
• Support and assist providers with bedside procedures
• Manage advanced ventilator and monitoring equipment
