Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

Travel experience is preferred.

3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Must Have Limited Neuro Experience at the Least
• Special Procedures Required: Fresh Post-op Craniotomies, Vent settings, A-lines, Central Lines, NIH Evaluations, HD (managed by dialysis staff), CRRT (managed by RN)

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Yes every other
• Call Requirement: No
• Facility open to 36, 36/48, or 48 hours per week

Floating Requirements:Yes will float between the SCU, NCU, and CCU as there is no specific unit assignment. Must also be willing to float to ED to care for CC admits.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
