at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, United States Job Description Job Details Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Care Center - Per Diem Per Diem 36 hours in a four week schedule Holiday & Weekend commitment per the per diem guidelines Newark, DE ChristianaCare is seeking a RN to work in our Pediatric Care Center located at our Women's & Children's building on our Newark Campus. Our Pediatric Care Center is a total of 14-beds with a mix of emergency and general pediatric acute care beds. The Pediatric Care Center RN will gain experience caring for children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses like RSV, sepsis, asthma, broken bones, GI illnesses, head or body injuries, high fever and infections, abdominal pain and more. Education and Experience Requirements: BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire At least TWO years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in Acute Care Pediatric Emergency or Emergency Department required BLS & PALS certifications required TNCC and ENPC certifications strongly preferred Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware ChristianaCare's Christiana and Wilmington hospitals have received their thirdMagnet designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the pre-eminent recognition for hospital systems in the United States!
