We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Senior Leadership Team and provide clinical leadership for Infection Prevention, Quality Management, Regulatory, Risk Management, and Medical Staff Services in our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply the principles of CDC to implement and effective Infection Prevention program
  • Facilitates the Hospital Performance Improvement Plan in collaboration with Medical Staff and the Clinical Team
  • Ensures submission of data for internal and external databases.
  • Facilitates compliance for the facility related to CMS, The Joint Commission and State/Federal regulations.
  • Provide expertise and supports the facility operations.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Current, valid, and active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment is required.
  • Minimum four years clinical experience preferred
  • Two years in a role with regulatory/hospital licensure/accreditation experience preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Knowledge of and resource for Federal, State and the Joint Commission standards and hospital specific rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsibilities

The Director of Compliance is the individual with primary responsibility for providing clinical leadership for the following areas of hospital operations: Infection Prevention/Control, Medical Staff Services, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Quality Management/Improvement. Uses clinical expertise and significant independent discretion and judgment to help manage and supervise the hospital’s operations in all of the aforementioned areas. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
