Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) plays a key role in supporting the safe and efficient monitoring of nearly 300 pients cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic stus. This is a non-direct care position, ideal for a clinically skilled RN with experience in telemetry who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
The RN in this role provides clinical support to a team of Central Monitor Technicians (CMTs), promotes adherence to protocols, and facilites clear communicion with inpient care teams. This position contributes to the overall quality of care by helping ensure accure cardiac monitoring, approprie escalions, and consistent workflow.
Job Responsibilities:
Support and coordine the daily activities of Central Monitor Technicians to ensure timely and accure telemetry monitoring.
Serve as a clinical resource for rhythm interpretion, protocol adherence, and telemetry best practices.
Collabore with the CMU Nurse Educor to help provide training and reinforce department policies and procedures.
Support smooth transitions between shifts to maintain continuity of pient monitoring.
Participe in daily team huddles and contribute to unit-based initiives.
Act as a communicion link between the CMU and inpient clinical staff, promoting timely updes and coordinion.
Assist in reviewing staffing assignments and making adjustments as needed.
Contribute to quality improvement efforts reled to telemetry and monitoring workflows.
Assist with coaching and guiding staff in real-time situions, promoting best practices and a supportive team environment.

QualificionsBSN required; MSN preferred. One degree must be in Nursing.
Candides actively pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered, with continued progress toward degree completion expected within five years.
Minimum one year of nursing experience, including telemetry experience.
Current CT RN license required.
Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) or equivalent preferred.
Strong communicion and clinical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaborively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Comfort with using clinical systems, telemetry technology, and escalion protocols.
