Personal Care Assistant Starting $22$27 per hour

I am currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to help care for my brother. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Experience welcomed but not needed. Person applying should be capable of lifting 50lbs and not have any physical limitation that could compromise the safety of the client.

Position Details:

Starting Pay: $22$27 per hour

Looking for two people to support Monday - Sunday rotating or static schedule TBD.
Typical Hours 8am - 6pm

Also available is a part time flexible position up to 2 hrs. a day for Physical therapy depending on tolerance of the client. This would require someone with an understanding of body mechanics and senior or disabled exercise methods.
Typical Hours 10am - Noon

Location: Care provided in our large, modern ranch home

Client: 66-year-old male (~150 lbs), head injury from a construction accident in 1983

About the Client:
My brother is a kind, easygoing person with a good sense of humor. He enjoys being read to and playing simple games like cards. Due to his injury, he requires full assistance (100% care). He has limited verbal communication, short-term memory issues, and is cortically blind.

We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and able to understand his needs through observation, as his communication is limited. This role requires a personalized approachstandard one-size-fits-all care will not be effective for him.

Typical Daily Routine:

Morning routine (around 8:00 AM): assist with getting up, bathing/showering

Breakfast and feeding assistance (around 9:0010:00 AM)

Ongoing care, activities, and support throughout the day. He does go down for a nap and there is down time.

Responsibilities:

Personal Care

Full assistance with bathing, grooming, and hygiene

Toileting assistance
Feeding and meal preparation
Giving morning medications
Use of external condom device for urine collection (part of the day)
Basic health monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, recording)
Accompanying to doctor appointments
Exercise & Mobility

Assisting with specialized bike (Mylon bike)

Range-of-motion exercises and stretching
General movement support and light physical activity
Household Duties (Client-Focused)

Laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)

Cleaning clients room and bathroom
Meal prep and kitchen cleanup
Light cleaning of shared spaces
Following house organization and routines
Work Environment & Expectations:

Non-smoking / non-vaping environment

Absolutely no illicit drug use or alcohol use on duty or the premises
Any criminal record must be disclosed prior to employment
Household has 2 small dogs
