ICU RN - Lakewood, Ohio

This contract opportunity is ideal for those passionate about delivering specialized nursing care and seeking to grow their expertise in Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, and Telemetry patient populations.

Schedule:

• Night shift
• Every other weekend required (EOW)
• Every other holiday required (EOH)
• 48 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license
• Strong ICU experience preferred
• Background in Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, or Telemetry units desirable
• Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of patient care and safety

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to ICU patients, monitoring and anticipating changes in condition
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Manage advanced medical equipment and administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Respond swiftly to emergent situations, utilizing advanced life-saving techniques as needed
• Document all interventions, assessments, and treatments efficiently and accurately
• Provide support and education to patients and their families during challenging times
