Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Grover Beach, CA

Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a contract LVN with a summer assignment in a vibrant school environment near Grover Beach, CA. This on-site opportunity runs from June 15, 2026, through July 8, 2026, with observed days off on Juneteenth and July 3rd. The schedule is 40 hours per week, from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California LVN license required
• Experience providing care to children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
• Proficient in catheter care and management of student health needs
• Adept at responding to urgent needs and adapting to changes in caseload
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational staff
• Female candidates preferred due to the nature of student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including specialist support with catheter needs
• Serve as a health resource to students and staff, ensuring a safe, supportive environment
• Accompany and support students during local field trips, monitoring their healthcare needs
• Be flexible to work within an LVN pool when necessary, covering for absences or urgent requirements
• Keep accurate, confidential records in compliance with district standards
