We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing pulmonology clinic in Waukee, Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and expanding specialty practice focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As our clinic continues to grow, the LPN will play a key role in supporting providers with patient assessments, chronic disease management, in-office procedures, and patient education for individuals with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Responsibilities- Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures
- Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure
- Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care
- Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Iowa Board of Nursing
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
