Trinity Health Livonia Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT provides direct patient care while supporting a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct patient care including vital signs, intake/output, weights, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Communicate proactively with the care team and report patient needs or condition changes
- Assist with clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, oxygen therapy, and basic wound care
- Support patient safety initiatives including fall prevention and infection control
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment and document care in the EMR
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family orientation
- Uphold Trinity Healths mission, values, and service excellence standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of patient care experience preferred or completion of relevant training (CENA, PCT, MA, EMT, or nursing fundamentals)
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
