Direct Support Professional (DSP) Support Services- Baltimore County/ Perry hall

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands on care to an individual with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Support Services professionals assist individuals and families living in their personal home.

Services provided are personalized and directed by the individual receiving supports and may include but are not limited to: assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, and shopping.

Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid
DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

· Assisting with participation and exploration of the community

· Cultivating and expanding independent living skills

· Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships

· Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals

Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on their driving record.

Must have at least 2 years of Driving experience

Must be at least 20 years of age

The hours for this position: Wednesday 11p-9a Thursday (10 hours)

Support needed for a woman in Perry Hall. Provide support for her to live in her own home including assistance with, bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, appointments, fun and social activities.

This position requires the use of a cell phone for mobile punching and documentation.

Candidates must be fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with enhanced health and safety protocols and to keep yourself and others safe and free from illness.
