Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Technician job responsibilities include:

  • Perform patient pre-testing
  • Obtain medical and vision histories
  • Assist with contact lens training and education
  • Enter information into EHR
  • Order contact lenses
  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment
  • Support efficient patient flow
  • Educate patients on eye care recommendation
  • Perform special testing

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an optometric, ophthalmology, medical, or healthcare setting
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Experience performing patient intake, medical histories, or clinical testing
  • Contact lens experience
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology

Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
