Baptist Medical Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN position located at Baptist Medical Center (Downtown).

The Occupational Therapist will support the Rehab Team by working with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical.

Occupational Therapist, Acute Care Department, Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats patients in an adult acute care setting.
• Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds (job competency training available).
• Works in a team environment with other Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Provides ongoing patient and family education.
• Works with multidisciplinary teams outside of Rehab Services (hospitalists, physician specialists, nursing, and social services.)
