Nurse Educator Clinical Education

We are looking for a nurse educator to join our team with our Clinical Education Team! In this position, you lead our nurse orientation to positively impact patient care and support the patient’s experience. In this role you will:

• Design, implement, and facilitate a variety of educational programming
• Coordinates and facilities onboarding and job preparation experiences for employees and external learners
• Serves as a nurse planner for continuing education learning
• Cultivate a supportive environment for professional staff, promote professional growth opportunities, and conduct ongoing learning needs assessments
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours, including internal and external disasters
• Exemplify Memorial’s core values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service in all interactions
• Adhere to hospital and department Ethics and Compliance programs, detect and report compliance variances, and maintain regular and predictable attendance

What You’ll Bring:

• Education: Master's degree in Nursing
• Experience: 2 years of teaching experience
• Licensure: Current RN license in Ohio
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire. Instructor certification in at least two out of three (BLS, ACLS, and PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Continuous Learning: Complete 24 contact hours of approved CE every two years as per Ohio Board of Nursing requirements and maintain continuous certification in relevant areas
