Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialized Multi-Specialty Surgical Oncology Unit.
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering direct patient care, managing complex post-surgical needs, and providing comprehensive education and support to patients and their families throughout the continuum of their surgical oncology journey.
- The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
