The shifts will be 7am to 3pm (3-4 shifts per week, no weekends)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Stress Test Procedure Nurse to join our cardiology team. The Stress Nurse plays a critical role in conducting and monitoring cardiac stress tests, ensuring patient safety, and supporting accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. This position requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing (treadmill or pharmacologic).
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and patient symptoms throughout the procedure.
• Administer medications as ordered during pharmacologic stress tests.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and technicians to ensure accurate test results.
• Educate patients on the procedure, risks, and post-test care.
• Document all aspects of the test and patient response in the medical record.
• Respond to adverse reactions or cardiac events with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain and calibrate stress testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
