Job Description
JOB TITLE : Operating Room Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
The OR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations and management of the Surgery Center’s operating theater. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff training, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.
- Five or more years of Operating Room experience with three or more years of supervisory experience in a high-volume surgical setting.
- A focus in multi-specialty highly desired
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS certification also required.
