Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Float Requirements: Float required as needed including to CMMC
Must Have Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV Insulin protocols, PICC, Central Line care, starting IVs, Blood product administration, IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, HFNC, Intereptation of ABGs
Preferred Skillset/Experience: GI Surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, accessing ports, arterial line management
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: General medical floor with telemetry, mixed with skilled beds. Diagnoses: COPD, CHF, Pancreatitis, AKI, Dehydration, long term antibiotics, wound vacs, hip/knee replacements.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
