Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Special Requirements: Teaching hospital experience required, UCH surgical oncology unit, Majority of the procedures and diagnoses seen are related to the abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach, unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications. Nursing staff provides care to patients to help achieve specific post-op milestones for discharge. No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit. Staff does not need to be chemo certified to apply.
